Yellowstone, the first national
park in the world, indeed has some unique geological and ecological
features. Though Taiwan also has some volcano activities like hot
springs, here has geysers, very colorful hot springs, and other
geothermal features.
Comparing to other national parks I have visited, the "road/area" ratio
(too engineering, huh?) is very low, which really helps to preserve the
nature environments and to leave enough spaces for big mammals. We
saw lots of buffalos, elks, deer, coyotes,..., even grizzly bears twice
and black bear once (with a baby bear). |
